Christmas is fast approaching and a frequent question I see all over social media is, “What are you stuffing in your kids’ stockings?!” This is one that always gets me, too! Especially as a large family, this is where we could so easily overspend or just resort to candy or junk in order to save money. I’ve been giving it some thought and come up with a few ideas based on what items of ours keep disappearing because the kids take over them and on those requests I hear time and time again all year long. Here are 5 of my top picks besides the candy and treats!
- Tape! Scotch, washi, or printed duct tape…or all three!
- Scissors! For the same reason as the tape…so yours stops going missing!
- Combs or brushes
- Toothbrushes with their favorite colors or characters
- Coupons: They can use one a month. Skip spelling today, Skip a chore today, Bake a treat, Go get an Icee alone with Mom, New B&N Book under $x, ….. the possibilities for this are endless!
